The firm of Stephan Rechtsanwälte was initially founded in 1994 as "Dierkes & Stephan", an additional office to the firm previously founded in Telgte, Germany, and it is currently managed by Mr. Stephan, Lawyer, since 2011 as its sole owner. Additional professionals at the firm is Ms. Gruno, Lawyer, since 2009.

Our professionals ensure their up-to-date technical qualifications via constant continued education. Mr. Stephan has been a specialist lawyer in criminal law since 2000, too. Ms. Gruno has also acquired the title of specialist lawyer for criminal law as of 2014.

Our services include representation and consultation for natural persons, companies, and corporations under public law.

In this way, we accompany clients throughout Germany during existing examination procedures with the basic goal of achieving termination of proceedings out of court as quickly as possible. If legal representation becomes necessary, we defend our clients at first instance courts and appeals and review courts. We are also active prior to introduction of examination proceedings within the scope of legal consulting mandates. The goal here is targeted analysis of the current individual situation, avoiding liability risks for company decision makers, and effectively countering possible sources of danger.

In the area of company mandates, we place our focus on avoiding possible company-related, disadvantageous decisions in cases where criminal and regulatory offence claims are raised against (directing) employees. This may be a result of the case that the company as a whole is being drawn on for payment of significant penalties, for example due to supposed regulatory offences on behalf of legally liable employees. If court proceedings follow in this case, then we shall naturally represent the interests of the company, even within the scope of all courts of instance. Stephan Rechtsanwälte also offers regular in-house seminars to train company employees to respond to especially problematic situations, e.g. behavioural guidelines within the context of investigative house searches.
